The Accuracy Landing competition event consists of competitors guiding their canopies to a precision landing on or as close as possible to a two-centimeter-diameter dead-center target.

For FAI World Championships, the US Parachute Team can send the following number of competitors:
1 Male Team (5 competitors)
1 Female Team (5 competitors)
2 Junior* Male competitors
2 Junior* Female competitors

For the purpose of all parachuting disciplines, a junior competitor is a person under the age of 24 or whose 24th birthday occurs during the calendar year in which the relevant competition takes place.
